The first quotation was attributed to Rush Limbaugh. He never said it. There is no tape of him saying it. There is no transcript of him saying it. After all, if he had done so at any point in the last 20 years, someone would surely have mentioned it at the time.

Interesting that CNN can fact check Saturday Night Live but can not find the time to fact check those outrageous statements made about Rush.

Indeed, there are the bad mass murderers and the good mass murderers. The bad ones were put down 65 years ago. The good ones took over academia, took over your kid's university, and now sit in the White House.
The thing that troubles me about this whole thing, is people get all worked up over words. These kind of attitudes are what leads to the suspension of our liberties. Especially in the area of race relations, people feel like they have to walk on eggshells when talking about the subject.
The only way we make progress in race relations is to allow people to truly express themselves and have frank dialog, and not impose self-censorship over fear losing one’s job.

They share nearly all of the same views as Rush Limbaugh and they air those views in nationally syndicated columns and radio shows. In some areas they are tougher than Rush. But they are all black skinned. Are they racist, too?
