O's 'blank screen'Why he's losing credibility
NY Post ^ | October 17, 2009 | LYNN FORESTER DE ROTHSCHILD

IN "The Audacity of Hope," Barack Obama described himself as "a blank screen on which people of vastly different political stripes project their own views." This is a powerful tool in elections and explains why liberals, moderates, Democrats, Independents and Republicans joined together to give him 53 percent of the vote last November.

Since his election, this "blank screen" has been an asset, allowing the new president to maintain an illusion of progress, even as he has avoided the hard choices necessary for progress. But, as Americans ponder the unavoidable consequences of the president's policies -- particularly health-care reform -- the illusion is wearing thin.

It’s all about the empty suits voting “present”, isn’t it?

That was assuming he had credibility. How can you lose something you don't have?

Inquiring minds want to know.

We've already had one President "TR" (Teddy Roosevelt), why not another "TR" (tabula rasa).

But isn’t Lady de Rothschild an ex-pat? What is her beef, exactly? I know she was a big Hillary supporter.

From what I can tell, she is a old-style, strong defense but socially liberal Dem.

I guess she finds the Obamanoisd distasteful.

She was on our team after her gal Hill lost to Barry...perhaps she is helping to prepare Hill’s path of return.

Obama is losing credibility because Democrats in Congress run the Party like the Nazis did in 1933. People know they are lying. Congress now has the lowest ratings in history. The last I saw, only about 16% of the voters believe anything they say. Everyday Americans know that Rep. Joe Wilson was right. O was lying to Congress and the American people.

Obama is mouthing platitudes, garbage and lies most of the time. He is only a shill for New World Order Fascist controllers and greedy Wall Street profiteers.

Zero is also losing credibility because most people know or suspect he is not 'a natural born citizen.' He not born in Hawaii as the Democratic Party contends. When the truth finally comes out it will destroy the Democrats. That is why 0 has spent over $ 1.5 Million defending lawsuit that he could win by producing a real $ 25 birth certificate.

Regardless of where he was born, which will be a damn hard thing to prove one way or another, the guy spent most of his formative years in a Muslim country in a Muslim school. He was never a Boy Scout. He never played Little League baseball or Pop Warner football. His life experience seems odd and even alien to the majority of Americans. That accounts for a large part of the suspicion. Naked lying and radicalism account for the rest.

‘Barack Obama described himself as “a blank screen on which people of vastly different political stripes project their own views.’

In other words, he’s a spineless intellectual cipher with no properly informed views on anything and nothing to say that hasn’t been recycled from Marx/Engels/Trotsky/Lenin.

Congratulations, America; you really picked a winner!

I know she was born here, in New Jersey, but I believe she lives overseas. I find it curious she is taking such an interest in American politics.

She openly and unabashedly supported McCain/Palin in 2008 and appeared on stage with Palin on the stump on more than one occasion. She was a far better defender of Sarah than any of the yahoos on the McCain campaign team.

You must be mistaken. I clearly saw her supporting HIllary, vociferously. She is a socially liberal Dem

I’m not mistaken. She was a Hillary supporter who went over to McCain/Palin in 2008. She even raised money for the campaign.
