The British and others also thought they were ready...and that was their downfall. I believe that the promise and faith of Patrick Henry holds today, and will proceed accordingly.

We are not weak if we make a proper use of those means which the God of nature hath placed in our power. The millions of people, armed in the holy cause of liberty, and in such a country as that which we possess, are invincible by any force which our enemy can send against us. Besides, sir, we shall not fight our battles alone. There is a just God who presides over the destinies of nations, and who will raise up friends to fight our battles for us. The battle, sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave.

Though times and technology and all sorts of other things have changed since that time, fundamental principle and the human heart have not changed and I believe those same principles and promises extend to us.

I'm not disagreeing with you and I think it's marvelous we have so many founding fathers to quote but things were completely different back then, even though King George III and Obama are both nuts.

We are just not equipped to win.

IF Congress turned against Obama we'd have a chance and I won't personally claim anything concrete til 11/4/10.

Fact is their weapons beat ours so handily, however, we may as well use slingshots.
