But now the toothpaste is being squeezed back into the tube by the Post-Dispatch. In an Editor's Note published today, the newspaper says that the quote in question "cannot be verified, and its use did not meet the Post-Dispatch's standards for sourcing." Of course the paper could have sourced this BS before they printed it. They think they have won, tell a lie, get Rush bounced and then retract, trying to avert a lawsuit. Well, I hope Rush's lawyers, who are working on the evidence right now, go ahead and sue the crap out of all these people.

Imagine that you own a piece of the Main Stream Media... it is like a gun. You can shoot someone with it, apologize, you get to keep your gun and you can shoot them again and again.
Rush should sue them all into total bankruptcy.
This is war.

Isn't a retraction an admission of guilt in a libel case? Rush has suffered financially here, not just a reputation that is besmirched and repaired with an apology and a retraction. Also, the actions of those involved may have unduly interfered with the outcome of a financial transaction, another grievous tort.
