SNEAKY DECEPTIVE DEMOCRATS to ATTACH HEALTH CARE BILL to A TAX BILL to Jam Thru PUBLIC OPTION

Democrats' secret 4-step plan to jam public option!!

Step 1:

The Senate Finance Committee must first approve the marked-up version of Sen. Max Baucus (D.-Mont.) conceptual framework. Then Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D.-Nev.) can say that two Senate Committees have passed a health care bill, which will allow him to take extraordinary steps to get the bill on the Senate floor.

During the mark-up last week, members had difficulty offering amendments and trying to make constructive changed because they lacked actual legislative text and Baucus made unilateral last minute changes. For example, the AP reported that under pressure from fellow Democrats, the chairman of the Senate Finance Committee decided to commit an additional $50 billion over a decade toward making insurance more affordable for working-class families.

Step 2:

Sen. Reid will take the final product of the Senate Finance Committee and merge it with the product of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee, which passed on a party-line vote in July.

Usually, a bill is voted out of committee, and then the Senate takes up the final product of the committee so that all 100 senators can have a hand in the process. With some help from the Obama administration, Reid will decide what aspects of the HELP and Finance Committee bills to keep.

Step 3:

Now, Obamacare will be ready to hitch a ride on an unrelated bill from the House. Sen. Reid will move to proceed to H.R. 1586, a bill to impose a tax on bonuses received by certain TARP recipients. This bill was passed by the House in the wake of the AIG bonus controversy and is currently sitting on the Senate Legislative Calendar.

The move to proceed needs 60 votes to start debate. After the motion is approved, Sen. Reid will offer Obamacare as a complete substitute to the unrelated House-passed bill. This means that the entire healthcare reform effort will be included as an amendment to a TARP bill that has been collecting dust in the Senate for months.

Step 4:

For this strategy to work, the proponents would need to hold together the liberal caucus of 58 Democrats (including Paul Kirk who was named last Thursday to replace Sen. Kennedy), and the two Independent senators (Joe Lieberman of Connecticut and Bernie Sanders of Vermont). These members will have to all hold hands and vote against any filibuster. Once the Senate takes up the bill, only a simple majority of members will be needed for passage. Its possible one of the endangered moderate Democrats, such as Sen. Blanche Lincoln (Ark.), could vote to stop a filibuster then vote against Obamacare so as not to offend angry constituents.

Once the Senate passes a bill and sends it to the House, all the House would have to do is pass the bill without changes and President Obama will be presented with his health care reform measure. If this plan does not work, the Senate and House leadership may go back to considering using reconciliation to pass the legislation.

Adopting this secret plan will not strike most Americans as a transparent, bipartisan, effective way to change how millions of Americans get their health care.

I think their stragery now is to do whatever it takes to shove it through and hope that the Republicans don’t make big enough gains in Congress to repeal it.

And yet if any of us try to avoid it by sneaky deceptive means, we will be fined and/or jailed, correct?

I've contacted LIEberman's office several times regarding socialist health care. The first three times he stated he opposed government run health care. He also made the same claim on a local radio talk show. Two week ago I asked why he would be one of the 60 votes. An aide claimed he supported debate. I asked why he would support debate on an issue he claims to oppose. The aide replied "I don't know". I called the next day to get a clear explanation. Another aide stated he hasn't taken a position.

LIEberman is a snake in the grass who has made a career of playing both ends against the middle to garner maximum support.

If they pass this bill at all; they will be gone. It is even possible they will have their pensions slashed and some will go to jail.

I don’t think the Republicans, even if they win every seat they are contesting in 2010 will repeal any such bill. They will merely enact some minor alterations and thereafter the political argument that will animate every election will be about which party can administer socialism better. Republicans, once in power, are just as enamored of being in control of stuff as are the Democrats. To their minimum credit, they do tend to resist the enactment of such measures but then strive to be the beneficiaries of them.

Why would the GOP sit by quietly and allow this to take place. Mass congressional walkout and revolt is in order. That is assuming they are opposed to the legislation, which is questionable.

The Healthcare Bill was ALWAYS a tax bill - it has to do with the mechanism of enforcement. They know damn well they have no legitimate power to seize everyone’s bodies.

But did you know you have TWO bodies?

Yep - your physical body, and your “corporate” body. Your corporate body is created by the government, and consists of your allowance to have fiduciary control of federal reserve notes. The idea is that you don’t have to have anything to do with federal reserve notes, but if you choose to do so, of your own voluntary will, why then, you are acting as an agent of the government. And that fiduciary capacity, in all of it’s respects, is your corporate body. And so, it’s that corporate body that is being linked to a new punishment tax if it doesn’t meet the requirements of the new healthcare bill.

And the fact that that new healthcare tax requirement involves the sacrifice of your physical body to government control is considered completely irrelevent for tax administration considerations.

Even if that new liberal party did they would love this thing as well.Unless that party undergoes a major transformation, they`re the new liberal party of America and the rats are effectively the ruling communist party of America.

I would love to think that. I think we would all love to think that. But, it wont matter. If a bill passes we are stuck with it whether we get congress and obama out or not. The next president wont overturn it.

We do a lot of talking on these forums of what we will do..when the fact is..we cant do a thing.

Dear Governor Perry,

On March 30, 2009 the Texas House of Representatives passed HCR 50 affirming that the State of Texas claims sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment.

You have publicly supported this bill, and stated that attorney generals from all over the union could be getting ready to sue the US Government.

We are asking you to take the lead.

We are asking you to order the Texas Attorney General to publicly begin working on a law suit under Article IV, Ninth, and Tenth Amendment of the Constitution.

We are asking you to protect the citizens of Texas that we will not stand for government controlled healthcare in our state.

Under your leadership we can effectively kill the proposal of this administration and allow Texas to be a state free from socialism and collectivism.

Be the voice of reason in the national debate and allow Texans the ability to solve the problems of our state.

Thank you,

Facts about the 10th Amendment:

The Tenth Amendment (Amendment X) of the United States Constitution, which is part of the Bill of Rights, was ratified on December 15, 1791. The Tenth Amendment restates the Constitution’s principle of Federalism by providing that powers not granted to the national government nor prohibited to the states are reserved to the states or the people.

HCR 50 HAS PASSED THE HOUSE 99-36!
Affirming that the State of Texas claims sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States over all powers not otherwise enumerated and granted to the federal government by the U.S. Constitution, serving notice to the federal government to cease and desist certain mandates, and providing that certain federal legislation be prohibited or repealed.

Take Action! Before it is too late!

Feds Have Built Only 32 Miles of 700 Mile Double-Border Fence Originally Mandated by Congress

“One reason DHS has been able to do this is an amendment that Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R.-Texas) slipped into an omnibus appropriations bill that Congress passed on December 18, 2007. Hutchison’s amendment put a loophole in the fence law that allowed the secretary of Homeland Security not to build the fence Congress had mandated the year before.”
