To me, this illustrated the fickle nature of the American electorate. Elect a socialist and then recoil from his socialist policies. That being said, I think you can attribute a lot of this to the American people being caught up in the novelty of electing the first Black President—most people never got beyond the Hope/Change mantra and were just to lazy to do their homework. BHO’s election was the triumph of image over substance. It also didn’t help that his opponent was programmed to fail. Though I find his style hard to stomach, I think Glenn Beck has done America quite the service by helping to expose the dark underbelly of the Obama administration. He is doing the working that the fawning MSM just won’t do.
A 5-1 spending advantage, gained by gaming the system (pledged to accept public funding , then pulled out of agreement at deadline) didn’t hurt Obama either; he’ll never have that again.
The National Education Association has done its part for the revolution--created a populace with the critical faculties of Yogi Bear.
It says “advanced western civilizations” and it seems like these Old Europe countries are in decline.
