An ACORN-Friendly, Big Labor-Backing, Tax-and-Spend Radical in GOP Clothing
Jewish World Review ^ | 10/18/2009 | Michelle Malkin

http://www.JewishWorldReview.com | Here's the dirty little secret about political candidates and officeholders labeled by the mainstream media as "moderate Republicans": There's usually nothing moderate about them. Consider the case of "moderate Republican" Dede Scozzafava, the GOP nominee in the New York 23rd congressional district's special election.

Handpicked by local party pooh-bahs and supported by Beltway GOP leaders, Scozzafava is vying to replace former GOP Rep. John McHugh, who abandoned his seat to accept President Obama's nomination as Army Secretary. There's certainly no urgency to tack left. The upstate New York district is as safe a Republican district as they come. The GOP has triumphed in every election there since 1871. Obama eked out a victory in the district last fall, but the Democrats have no real traction on the ground.

Please, send Hoffman a donation. I wish we would get behind him as strongly as we got behind Joe Wilson last month.

Markos Moulitsas, founder of The Daily Kos has endorsed Scozzafava. Dede Scozzafava has also been endorsed by NYSUT, the largest labor union in New York, and an affiliate of the National Education Association.

Scozzafava also holds these positions:

Scozzafava has also run in past elections on the Working Families Party (a progressive party associated with ACORN) line on the ballot.

This lady isn’t a RINO, she is a big “R” democRat.

There are also 17 RINOs in the house who have donated funds to this Liberal democRat's campaign. They include Boehner and Cantor. I don’t have a full list, but I will be looking for it. These RINOs should be targeted for elimination in the primaries next year.

Please, spread the word about this important race in New York”s 23rd congressional district.

I am noticing more and more stories about the rino in NY. Something is definitely afoot. The establishment republicans are getting very nervous. Go Hoffman

She is an abomination. And all of the Republican House leadership except Pence are backing her.

Those RepRats have to go. They are betraying us every day. Time for some decent leadership. Here is Obama destroying our country, and these jerks are still playing their little games.

I’ve been accused of RINO hunting but, hey, this is a conservative websiste not necessarily a Pubbie one.

The Elephants have got to show me some serious improvements before they get my support or votes again.

This article GOP’s support of this RINO has me so ticked I sent them a nasty letter in the latest campaign mailer they sent me. I told them I was going to make a donation to the campaign of Dede Scozzafava’s primary opponent instead.

Moderate Republicans would rather cave in than fight for what is Right!

It seems as if the Republican leadership has just been getting worse and worse. They are not just occasionally clueless, but totally clueless. They are not only without principles, but they have lost all their political smarts as well.

I could understand it, if not approve of it, if they compromised their principles in order to win. But this is a sure-fire way to lose, which they have been doing ever since the party crested at the 2004 election.

I don’t normally vote third party. But it’s beginning to look like that’s the only workable solution. Because after a good run of a century and a half, I think the Republican Party may be finished.

This doesn’t happen often. But it seems to be happening now. They are not going to allow an solid conservative leaders into the party any more. So. We’ll see. I think it may be time. Not for a Ross Perot or a Pat Buchanan, but for a real conservative patriot to come along. The situation is ripe for it. History says it can happen, every hundred or hundred and fifty years or so.

This is a chance for Sarah to get even with the Beltway RINOs.

We all need to CALL up PENCE and thank him for standing for Principles, he needs our support backing him up, in what I am sure is a very presured situation coming from the Top.

Thank him for standing on principles, and then tell him YOU are standing behind him for doing so!!

Take back the Republican Party (from the ground up if you have to)! No to third parties unless necessary (and NY-23 was necessary) of course NY politics is quite different from the rest of the country....

As I said, I’m not a fan of third parties, especially when it’s nothing but a flaky 3% protest vote. But once in a very long while, major parties die. And that may be the case now. I certainly don’t know that for sure. But if they keep demonizing Sarah and anyone else who could fix the problem, and if they keep doing these politically stupid things, then it may be time.

We aren’t at that point yet. But the 2010 election is approaching, and the party isn’t making any more sense than it was a year ago. Less sense, if anything.

I want your take on this.

The banksters and the Left want a global government to run the world. They want a global taxation (wealth transfer) power, a global economic planning and regulation power and they want all countries to be bound by UN international courts. They want the global power to dictate energy use which is like have control over the means of production for the world. The Rinos want this too (see McCain/Soros links, for example).

Do you think they are trying to pack the Senate with Republicans who will vote with the Marxist Dems. for these treaties establishing a global government seeing as they now have a traitor President in power who hates America?

Why would the Rinos be picking candidates they know will be unpopular and won’t bring them majority status for the Senate?

The rinos pick their unpopular candidates because they have a naive belief that the base will vote for them. They have yet to learn the lessons from 06 and 08. Anything else is just gravy for them, because they can continue to be liked by the libs.

She’s everything we do NOT want in this district. Boehlert and McHugh aren’t exactly conservatives either. I won’t vote for her. My vote’s with Hoffman, who claims he’s a conservative. Hubby feels the same way.
