You understand that there's a huge difference between an online poll - which is absolutely meaningless - and a poll conducted by professional pollsters using scientifically supported methods, right?

If you mean online polls by "other polls", it's for the above mentioned reason. But, the other scientific polls I've seen the last 4/5 months all complete support and concur with Rasmussen's poll - who, by the way, was one of the most reliably accurate polls throughout the 2008 campaign season.
whatever the polls say i feel very strongly that any pubbie candidate must be supported by Palin or they have no chance.. She may not be the one at this time but many will be looking to see if she can back the candidate.
It would do the party and the current crop of pretenders to remember this for she will be the king maker.
