I have no faith in Americans, in general. I believe the communist takeover of the schools sealed our fate. I think many Americans welcome communism.
Marxism is our nation's **most** serious threat. Schools are the Marxists’ **most** powerful weapon against freedom!
Government schools were a socialist scheme from their very beginnings in the mid 18th to 19th century.
Simply by attending, **all** students who have ever attended government schools learn that it is OK to take money from their neighbor to pay for a service that their parents want for free! Well?...If the child is made to feel comfortable with taking schooling from their neighbor, why not be comfortable with the IRS, FDR's New Deal, Johnson's Great Society, and every other socialist program we now have today?
We have had 100 years or more of gradual socialism because we have had 100 to 150 years of government schooling!
As for the teachers....Our county's high school is celebrating its 100th anniversary. Prior to 1909 there was NO government high school in my county. The teachers who taught in our county's government schools still had living parents and grandparents who had tamed the wilderness, broke the sod, and hacked out a civilization and who remembered the oppression suffered in Europe. These teachers are now dead or long retired. While they were teaching they could mitigate somewhat the effects of having socialist schools.
I have been on conservative message boards since the Internet was available. I have sounded the warning almost daily about the danger that our socialist government schools pose to our nation's freedom. I am amazed at how few conservatives understand that government schools have **ALWAYS** been a socialist scheme.
And...The social activists and community organizers of the 1800s **always** had socialism for a goal. The goal was **always** to create a compliant and STUPID population of workers for the fascist-corporate state. They have succeeded admirably! Government schools are NOT broken. They have achieved their original goal!
Solution:
If Harvard can have an endowment of 35 BILLION surely conservatives could endow conservative education foundations.
The foundations would award grants to individual conservative teachers who would set up mini-schools or one room school houses in their homes or small day care-like buildings. The foundations would certify the teacher, approve the curriculum, and test the students. The foundations would run regional sport teams, and community arts programs.
