Keep this third party stuff up and obama will win in 2012
Keep nominating liberals and the Republican Party will be the third party.
Excuse me, but how the **** does voting for a Conservative Party over a pro-gay, pro-abortion, socialist help Obama win in 2012?
Keep running liberals as Republicans and the same will happen.
You are clueless. If Hoffman wins, he will caucus with the Republicans.
This is a race the GOP has done everything to lose.
A vote for Dede Scozzafava will be a vote for Obama backing, regardless of party affiliation. Just how does that defeat Obama's agenda?
Yup! I hear this chicken little crap all the time but let me enlighten you a bit. There are a whole heck of a lot more "Conservatives" than there are either Republicans or Demoncraps. A third party known at the "Conservative Party" will end up blowing the doors off any other candidate out there; including baraq O bamah. Assuming of course he doesn't trump up some bogus excuse to declare martial law and do away with free elections altogether.
JMHO
This is the right thing right now.
We have to light some firecrackers up the RNC’s butt.
What difference does it make if all we get in Obama’s place is a me-too Republican clone of him?
Hoffman is a Republican running on the Conservative Party line.
Scuzzobama is a liberal democrat who was given the GOP line by ignorant party bosses.
This has nothing to do with Obama, other than the fact Dede will vote for his agenda.
If Joe Lieberman can win as an independent, why not Doug Hoffman as an independent?
Keep supporting the shit the RNC keeps throwing at the wall and you won't be able to tell the difference anyway.
>> Keep this third party stuff up and obama will win in 2012 <<
We NEED the 3rd party candidate on this election because it could be seen as a litmus test and wake up call to the RINOs in the RNC to run some real conservatives.
If Hoffman wins by a wide margin it would WAKE up the RNC.
Dede Scozzafava is a liberal. You want to be in a liberal party?
Is this the GOP you want?
Scozzafava also holds these positions:
Pro choice
In favor of gay marriage
In favor of Cap and Trade (I need to check my sources on this. Newt said she opposed this)
In favor of Employee Free Choice Act (Card Check)
In favor of the Stimulus
In favor of Bank Bailouts
I think in this case it’s warranted. She’s a rat. If it walks like a rat, talks like a rat and smells like a rat, it’s a rat. That’s what the ‘R’ after her name stands for - Rat.
I agree that pubs have to be elected in order to take back control, but this woman is just too far beyond the pale. It would be humiliating for real pubs to be forced to support someone so far left. I also realize we’re talking about NY where the conservative pickings are slim, but the line has to be drawn somewhere and she stands beyond that line in the enemy camp.
Get a clue. There is a big difference between forming a third party on the national level and backing conservative candidates in races such as this. Just blindly voting for someone because they have the Republicaan label is insanity. Remember, Arlen Specter was a Republican, and Colin Powell, Olympia Snowe, Susan Collins and Lindsey Graham still are. Also, how did running the rino John McCain work out for us last year? I can tell you from my experience locally that there was ZERO support for McCain last year until Palin was added to the ticket. The day after Sarah was announced as the VP candidate, we were swamped with people wanting yard signs and bumper stickers, and folks wanting to donate or help out.
Just help to make sure we don’t get another McCain, such as Pawlenty, in 2012.
Well, if the RNC does what it did in this race--support a candidate even more liberal than the Democrat one--then what's the loss?
It would be very difficult to do that with a far-leftist like Obama, but it wouldn't surprise me if the RNC managed to do so!
Yeah because rallying behind liberal/centrist Republicans has done so much for us, right?
The high poohbahs have to recieve a message, unfortunately it may be expensive to send! They seem to have hearing problems!
I agree in most cases, however I think Scozzafava is unacceptable and this should send a message to the party apparatus, and Hoffman has a real chance to win. I would never endorse third parties in most races or the presidential race by any means.
