Stating that is something that we currently do not know is a lot better than saying to is too complicated for us to understand so that means that God did it.

Sorry, wrong, you are.

If life changes, and it does, it has to start somewhere. That’s the premise I was going for, and apparently you don’t have an answer, and decide to try to ignore the question.

Life changes - that’s true. However, a finch doesn’t change into a sparrow, and a man doesn’t change into an ape, nor does a dog change into a tiger.

Cats change, yes. You have tigers and lions more adept at surviving in the savannah of Africa, and jaguars more adept at jungles. You have tabby cats more adept at surviving in my backyard. But they are all cats. They will never be anything OTHER THAN CATS.

And yes, the evolutionary theory certainly does address the origin of life. If we have all evolved from something else - eventually you get back to the original ancestor - the beginning. How did that one thing eventually have life?

“It is no valid objection that science as yet throws no light on the far higher problem of the essence or origin of life” (Darwin, Charles. The Origin of Species. 6th edition, 1882. p. 421).

You should try researching a topic before presenting an invalid argument against it.

Abiogenesis is the study of the orgin of life and is a separate scientific field of study than evolution.

Let’s look at dogs if man can change a wolf into a Chihuahua by genetic engineering in a few hundred years, just think of what could be achieved via natural selection over a hundred million years.

Turn a wolf into a pecan tree - or a chihuahua into an elephant, and we’ll be in the ballpark. One canine being bred for selective traits makes a canine.

Sure, Darwin said that - however, I’m using something you are apparently lacking LOGIC, and coming to a conclusion.

If man is descended from apes, and apes are decided from moles (or whatever), eventually you get back to the original ‘life’ on Earth. Where did it come from? Chemical reactions? Nope - mix all the chemicals you want in any percentages you want, you will not have LIFE.

Ira, I’m sorry you feel the way you do, but we’re not going to agree on this.

Saying something does not make it true, not understanding something does not make it false.

The fact is that the evolutionary theory does not address the origin of life, and your argument from personal incredulity does nothing to change that fact.

As to how life originated stating that is something that we currently do not know is a lot better than saying to is too complicated for us to understand so that means that God did it.

I feel sorry for you and your obvious lack of basic scientific education.
