It sarah at her most combative. also let me know what your impression is of Sarah after you view it.
I read the transcript just now with Wolf Blitzer. She held her own. She had the facts she was very well spoken (usually transcripts don’t read well). I found very interesting her impression on how Obama is doing so far as Pres. What she said about him having to do things because he promised the voters kind of hurt to hear (only because I believe she would have kept her promises) Her observations ring more true now than then. I’m still looking for Matt Lauer. I will let you know what I thought of that one (I dislike Lauer with a passion)
Sarah at the top of her game that morning.
I agree 100%. I think this is a good move. I know many women that aren’t all that political, but voted for Obama because they believed what was shoveled by the MSM. After Sarah’s debut at the RNC, they were buzzing about her at work, “She’s amazing!”. It was not long after, they were buying what was being sold by the MSM.
These women also watch Oprah and often discuss her show. It is women such as these that are prime for the pickin’. I have no doubt that Sarah Palin will charm the room and there WILL be “converts”. Women are fiercely loyal, and if she wins them over, that will be, as Martha Stewart would say, a very good thing.
IOW, you know a lot of easily manipulated, gullible women.
Yep. And there are hundreds of thousands more of them out there, and they watch Oprah. Many are also quite disillusioned with “The One”.
I think it is very smart, as much as I dislike Oprah.
It will make or break Palin.
If she is rattled by Oprah, the press will have a field day.
Oprah and Michelle Obama are feuding. Having Palin on her show is political payback for her perceived indifference the WH has given her.
Thanks Al B.
Also, here is the Hotair link to the video. Coda from C4P.

I can already hear Oprah saying “what do you make of walmart and amazon.com selling your book at the reduced price of 9 dollars?”
Thank you!! She was very good. Matt Lauer tried to get in her face. He rattled her just a little when he started to defend Letterman ( Incredible ). She pulled it together rather quickly. Maybe I was wrong. She should be able to take on the likes of Oprah. I gotta give her props., but I am still keeping my fingers crossed.:)
If Sarah can't hold her own with Oprah, she doesn't deserve to deal with Putin.
Oprah is a populist. This will turn out well for both of them, mark my words.
Thank God I don’t watch tv anymore except NCIS online a couple of days after the regular date.
I stopped watching Oprah after she started giving all that stuff away. I will not watch Sarah on Oprah, and I think Sarah is smart enough not to get into too much trouble now, but it is taped and edited like a lot of other shows.
It won’t hurt Sarah, and it will help Oprah. I hope she makes tons on her book, and I have a funny feeling Oprah may just support Sarah since Oprah is a capitalist, not a marxist and is very rich. Oprah won’t do well with distributing the wealth!
On TODAY Friday, Lauer asked the governor if she had been implying that Willow would not be safe around the late-night comedian. Take it however you want to take it, Palin replied. It was a comment that came from the heart.
Sarah was a prophet that day!
For a conservative, Oprah is a shark infested show with Oprah as Jaws. Sure, there are lots of voters watching but it's stacked against Sarah since many of them are liberal minded individuals. If Sarah does well, then she is a politician who should be admired for her guts and wits. If she flops, then it's possible she didn't learn much from 2008 and simply isn't up to the job.
I believe that Sarah has learned from her prior interviews, and she is probably confident that this time she won't be bound by ties to the McCain campaign that would constrain her. She is her own woman - let's see her express herself.
So as the saying goes, let's wait and see.
