They must have more money than George W Bush who used to be responsible for that hurricane.
This is pure idiocy. If I remember right, the year after Katrina, the experts were predicting an even worse year for hurricanes, and we had no major hits at all. What happened to Global Warming’s effect for that year?
Weren’t the funds allocated for barrier maintenance misappropriated?
Lawyers and Prostitutes both are ho’s. We keep worrying if the population is being dumbed down...I think the Fifth Circuit’s given us our answer.
Things just keep getting stupider, don’t they?

Hmmm... so, they have to prove CO2 caused the earth to warm??? No, they have to convince a jury that CO2 caused the earth to warm. EEK! O.J. is still looking for the real killer!!!
WWWLD?
Just tank the economy of Houston so both your original hometown and the one that took you in can be poverty-stricken wastelands. Brilliant!
Shouldn’t they also have to prove that global warming has actually occurred and that the warming actually contributed to excessive (abnormal) strength of Katrina?
The Tabak template strikes again.
Simply think of each smokestack as one gigantic equivalent of an SHS system.
Don’t we need to apply the same standard to the planet that we apply to places where people gather?
If it’s bad in a bar, think of how much worse it is for the planet.
This is just plain insanity. If it weren’t for the energy companies, New Orleans would be just another coastal fishing village. This looks like a lawyer driven lawsuit where the lawyers get 45% off the top and the plaintiffs blow their winnings within 6 months. If this thing goes through, the enegery companies ought to leave Louisiana for good. Let them rot.
This is sarcasm. Right? Right?
Sheesh!
In other news, United Midgets sued the city for building sidewalks too close to their asses.
I was born in my global warming suit.

If the enviro-wackos really believed that the oceans would rise 50 ft. (or whatever) in the next 100 years they would not be rebuilding NO. The fact that they are rebuilding it proves that they don’t believe this baloney.

I thought Dickie Scruggs was out of business. I wonder who's picked up the mantle of the "King of Torts"?
