By participating in this process the Republican only lend it an air of legitimacy. They need to withdrew from the process and refuse to participate in votes.
Then they need to tell the public why.
“We’ve not been a part of this process for months anyway and we don’t approve of Fascism or where this is headed.”
Let the Marxist bastards own it.
the media IS the message...the message they want you to have, nothing more...
Pubs could be standing naked with cowboy hats on the Capitol Steps and it would ignored if they dared to say one word agaisnt zero soetero and his evil minions.
Fantastic!!! Spread this one around. Humor is our best weapon. There is so much to laugh at with this gallery of fools in the Mocha House.
No, you forget that the Republican Party is "all inclusive", and therefore the "party" that is the good guys and will be our saviors in 2010. Yes, they will...(/s)
DemospLabRat Party shows its true colors.
Even so, why dies it continue to exist anyway? Shouldn't it be purged from existence, worse than the same sense that apartheid-era South Africa purged the communist party into exile?
End result: One party Republican rule.
they are hoping that after 2010,in a concilatory move,the pubbies drop the inquiries. its all about stalling.
At least the 3 Stooges used to be funny. This is anything but.
The rotunda of the Capitol would be a good place to caucus. It is a public place.
The Marxists, Maoists, and to a similar ideology, the Stalinists and Leninists, are ALL attempting to install a tyrannical "collectivism" regime. There is no longer any question.
Pick your poison above, it's all about "collectivism" and how that ideology can take from the producers and give to the non-producers. Two Wolves and One Sheep decide whats for lunch.
This is no great philosophical secret. There has been a communist party in the Fedgov for decades. Again, no secret. They proudly announce their willingness to take over our free-enterprise system almost every day. Google: Obama + Marxism or Communist Party. You will be surprised.
While I often opine about the impending doom in my few articles I post on this forum, I am also one to suggest answers:
1. Term limits on all Congress-critters. The first and best answer to curtail our career politicians. Also, the most difficult since it would need a Constitutional Amendment;
2. All US Codes written into the books should have a Sunset clause, defense appropriations and very few others being exempt. We can debate those provisions;
3. The Legislative Branch to have shorter sessions in Congress. The less time in DC, the less harm they can do;
4. States' Rights to be fully ratified by their own government bodies. If that means no more cash from DC, so be it;
6. The 17th Amendment repealed;
7. The absolute clarification that the 2nd Amendment to our societal compact, derives from the Founding Fathers' original INTENT that all free men/women should have the right of self-defense no matter where they are. Get off the "militia" clause which is secondary to the original intent that all free men can be armed.
Read the 2nd Amendment. More importantly, read what Jefferson, Adams, Jay, et al meant for that particular Amendment. It's all there in the Federalist papers; the essays they wrote for the publications of the time; their personal correspondence; and other documents.
Any lawyer who wants to argue the "incorporation" issue regarding the 2nd Amendment, has it ultimately wrong. They can argue that case in some of the other Amendments, but the 2nd Amendment was clear about the "peoples" (read: individual) rights.
Also, I have never found in the Constitution of the United States of America where Amendment X has ever been proven to be void. Some court cases earlier on tried to do so - they were wrong. A wrong decision by the Supreme Court is the same as an unlawful order to a Marine. The Supreme Court can and has made unConstitutional decisions though out our history.
They make such decisions, because they forget the "INTENT" of the FF's, and instead think about how that old document can apply in an ever-changing society. The USSC has been wrong on too many occasions. If those on the Bench want or need a new interpretation, they should realize it is up to the Legislative Branch and the Individual States to change such.
Amendment IX: "The enumeration of the Constitution of certain rights shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the People.
Amendment X: "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the People".
Can there be ANY doubt after passing (2) Amendments that the "people" (individuals) have the ultimate say?
Yes, we are or used to be a representative Republic, but now have become a socialist democracy. Still, certain rights are inherent as human beings.
Who is going to fight for those basic rights? And I don't mean the so-called right that you can get a tax credit if you buy a house that you can't afford.
Rights stop at the point they infringe upon another's right. I have the right to keep the money I earn and not give part of that to someone who wants a house, car, TV, or be made whole because of over-spending or bad investments. That's where your entitlement rights stop, amongst others.

Every day I await signs that the GOP has decided to “man up”. Nothing yet.
Next time,
BREAK DOWN THE DOOR!
Whimpy libs would only mess their panties, that’s all.
Get the kids who exposed ACORN to bring their video camera and do some filming - put it on the web. The kids did the job the media wouldn’t do - they can step in again.
Gee, I don’t think my kids were ever THAT bad! :0)
“Democrats lock Republicans out of committee room”
Most transparent ever...my big @$$!!!
My kids are not that bad. I know many kids who are. They have worthless parents.
Remember just recently the GOP having to stay in the chamber with the lights out debating the “drill here drill now” subject??!! That was back before the election. Don’t forget that. :(
