All this crap did for me was to drive me to Amazon today to order another copy of Sarah’s book(at 9.00 per copy on Amazon, engaged in a book war)it is a bargain. I am sure Sarah’s publisher will sue these jerks for copyright infringement and get a court order to halt release of the other book.
Not the title but the cover itself, they covered their butt on the title(rogue VS rouge), but the cover is definitely an infringement, I am sure they will sue.
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
Sarah’s decision to appear on Oprah probably means she has decided that she is ready to put the McCain disasters behind her, bypass the MSM, and present her case directly to the public. If she succeeds, books like this won’t matter a whit.
They constantly tell us how much they fear this good woman.
Interesting! A few weeks ago when the media first reported on her book, I happened to catch the story on Good Morning America (by the metro-sexual dude). He called the book ‘Going Rouge’. When Diane Sawyer corrected him and said the book was called ‘Going Rogue’, they both excused the error by saying that it was spelled ‘Going Rouge’ on the teleprompter.
Now, it is appearant to me that the MSM had done this on purpose.

Feds Grant Injunction
MSD Ignition has obtained a permanent Federal Injunction against Procomp Electronics, Inc., who had manufactured an ignition that was confusingly similar in appearance to MSD's 6AL Ignition Control. With aftermarket infringement increasing, MSD executives took the matter to the courts. The end result is a permanent injunction, meaning that, "Procomp, including its parent company, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliated, successors and assigns, and any person acting in concert with them are immediately prohibited from manufacturing, selling, distributing, marketing or offering any ignition or similar product that utilizes a design identical to or otherwise confusingly similar to" the design of MSD's labels or the design of the distinctive housing of MSD's ignition controls, including MSD's 6AL Ignition Control.

That’s an example of a trade dress lawsuit. “Confusingly similar.” Very familiar phrase. I became familiar due to my employer being sued by a competitor, for allegedly making a “confusingly similar” product. I designed the packaging. The product was pulled from all shelves due to an injunction, as well as all marketing materials pulled from circulation. We had tractor-trailer loads of FSI’s (free standing inserts such as found in the Sunday newspaper). My employer eventually won. But, the product was effectively killed off, which was of course the objective of the competitor.
I don't see a legal issue there, unless the font is proprietary one owned by Sarah Palin's publisher.
Sarah is reinforced by those attempting to bring her down. Their energy is a true measure of just how much they fear her.

In the U.S., a product’s trade dress is legally protected by the Lanham Act, the federal statute which regulates trademarks and trade dress.[3] Trade dress protection is intended to protect consumers from packaging or appearance of products that are designed to imitate other products; to prevent a consumer from buying one product under the belief that it is another.[4] For example, the design (meaning the shape, color, and arrangement of the materials) of a children’s line of clothing can be protectable trade dress,[5] as can the design of a magazine cover,[6] the appearance and décor of a chain of Mexican-style restaurants,[7] and a method of displaying wine bottles in a wine shop.[8]

Under section 43(a) of the Lanham Act a product's trade dress can be protected without formal registration with the PTO.[9] In relevant part, section 43(a) states the following:
“Any person who . . . in connection with any goods or services . . . uses in commerce any word, term, name, symbol, or device, or any combination thereof, or any false designation of origin, false or misleading description of fact, or false or misleading representation of fact, which . . . [i]s likely to cause confusion, or to cause mistake, or to deceive . . . as to the origin, sponsorship, or approval of his or her goods, services, or commercial activities by another person, or . . . in commercial advertising or promotion, misrepresents the nature, characteristics, qualities, or geographic origin of his or her or another person’s goods, services, or commercial activities, shall be liable in a civil action by any person who believes that he or she is likely to be damaged by such an act.”[10]
This statute allows the owner of a particular trade dress to sue an infringer (a person/entity who illegally copies that trade dress) for violating section 43(a) without registering that trade dress with any formal agency or system (unlike the registration and application requirements for enforcing other forms of intellectual property, such as patents). It is commonly seen as providing “federal common law” protection for trade dress (and trademarks).[11]
