Sadly, you’re right about keeping our eye on the big picture, but I find it hard to believe that she was picked by locals, since her area is supposedly pretty conservative. The Republican who is against her, in the Conservative party, is doing pretty well, from what I’ve heard, but third parties almost always screw it up for Republicans. I just hate the thought of yet another liberal Republican sitting in Congress, if there is a viable alternative, and frankly I wouldn’t trust her to vote with Republicans, if she thought she could get good media for going along with the Democrats.
Same old tired (lessor of two evils) logic that has brought us to the verge of total collaspe. I don’t think the nation can stand any more of the “same old same old” any longer.

I say it's time to give it a try, rather than assume our side can't win.
However, I don't trust this piece of crap Scozzafava and she's got no shot of winning as long as Hoffman stays in the race anyway.
So better the socialist party candidate wins this time around, unless Hoffman goes berserk and does what he should do and force her from the race.
The main point is that the GOP needs to understand that they CANNOT count on support for RINO's any longer, and they had better start making sure that conservatives run in conservative districts.
No point in unseating Pelosi if a bunch of RINO's are in place undermining a GOP majority.

By claiming the need “to be inclusive” they validate the Dems position that these rights ARE meted out irregularly...and are NOT natural rights that flow from God..which any truly successful National Political Party will serve only to reinforce and maintain for all of us.

I heard Mark Levin tonight ticking off the names of all the talk radio, and conservative tv personalities who are supporting Hoffman in that race. He named everyone who matters. All of the biggies.

Now that Palin has thrown her weight behind Hoffman its on, the old guard had better shape up or ship out.

I just heard Laura Ingraham play a clip of Newt going on about how the RNC won races by running moderates - and he named at least four.
