Oh I agree to never trust the media, but they must be stopped from choosing a side. That is what brought these communists to power. Obama never would have won without this bias.
Well, we seem to have an irreconcilable disagreement on the way to resolve the issue, as between making an "unbiased, trustworthy" media (which I hold is impossible, and even if it could be obtained, would result in the media having power over the people); and having a discerning, skeptical public that cannot be lead (very far, at least) by shysters.
What brought the shysters to power was public gullibility and public greed. The media is just the carnival barker, doing what carnival barkers do - fleece the marks.

After careful experimentation with morons, and duplication of our results by other universities (again, using morons), we have concluded that guns are dangerous (and messy).

Right, so lets kick the *&^% out of the media and educate the marks. Obama and Rahm are serving this up for us. They are attacking Fox while praising/lecturing the others. There has got to be a way to leverage this. Hell the Big 3 and CNN just told the WH no on excluding Fox. Even they are seeing the problem. As for a skeptical public, every year there’s a new crop of ignorant voters who need years to develop this skepticism. If we dont reign in the MSM we will always have communists getting elected.

Rather, they are scared sh!tless at the thought of what the response from the American people would be if they tried it. Their fear is well-founded, because the attempt at confiscation will most certainly result in armed resistance and civil war.

I agree that foreign troops on U.S. soil would make for fine targets. I do not necessarily agree that it would not happen in your lifetime, unless you are in your 90s. As for drawing a breath, just remember to take a deep breath, slowly exhale half-way, hold it, and gently pull the trigger.
