I agree with this post. I have been warning friends and family for years that this was coming and was branded the family nut for doing so. No one could imagine such an administration and such attacks on the Constitution- not, never, in THIS country.
I first started college in 1969 and know well what Horowitz wrote about and, like him, I was one of them. But nothing opens your eyes like seeing this movement from the inside. Alinsky and all those who follow him are not one bit different in ideology from Lenin, Stalin and Mao and they learned from those experiences and that of Hitler- don’t try to move fast or you will fail, especially in America. So, they have done it Alinsky’s way- made us frogs in pots.
The move to oppressive fascist government with Marxist ideology has been gradual and so more damaging. They have built it slowly on the foundations laid by others of their ilk in former administrations, like Wilson’s and both Roosevelts. They knew that at some point they would have to show some teeth, and here it is. The attacks on critics and the attempts to ram unwanted legislation down our throats are just the beginning.
We have an advantage. We have the Constitution and Obama and Soros’ minions only have a little over a year left before we turn him into an irrelevant and neutered lame duck.

One demurrer: I don’t, like some posters here, think Obama is “incompetent”. It is one thing to be incompetent, and another to fail to deliver for your constituents deliberately because you are working at cross purposes with them, and in fact attempting to compass their enslavement.
I think you are right, that Obama is about “revolution from above” and fettering the American people. His reasons may be multifarious — the KGB worked fulltime to give lots of different people lots of different reasons to take The Job and work for Communism — but he is on The Job, and his goal is our ruin, and possibly genocide. So said Bill Ayers, and he has never taken that statement off the table, like squishes like Joan Baez and Jane Fonda.
Ayers and Obama are hardcore — I can see it in Obama’s eyes sometimes, he occasionally gets this mean-and-nasty look. He won’t pull a trigger, but he’ll have no trouble giving the order when the time comes. His narcissism will allow it.

Lets hope that we will work to win the election of 2010, and prevent voter fraud across our country.If we do not prevail in getting control of one house in Congress, then we will have little but the last resort of freedom left to us.And we will prevail.

The Communists didn’t start a revolution until 1871 and got their butts kicked royally...The Patriots started a very successful revolution in 1775, and kicked Brit and Tory butt into the Atlantic, or north to Canada.
I say we Patriots are the world’s earliest and most successful revolutionists.
Our only problem is that we have become so damn peaceful and polite over the last two hundred years with our ruthless opponents on the home front, but those days are coming to a close in this, the winter of our discontent.

I’m thinking that it all comes down to the 2010 mid-term. If Republicans, hopefully all conservatives, do not gain seats in a big way - possibly even taking over the house or senate, we are doomed - big time.
If we Patriots do win the election of 2010, the Leftards will not go peacefully into the night. They will resist. They will make war.

- Shocked? Not so shocked methinks. Plenty of us saw this coming and are arming ourselves accordingly. Part of the problem is/was trusting that old fool McCain to actually stand for conservative principles and instead the old bugger supported the bailouts, supported amnesty, and was far too often willing to “reach across the aisle” to the Communists (I would have sent 10,000 if joe had yelled that at Obama instead!). We have some in our own party to blame as well as Obambi.
