The Jeffersonian Anti-Federalists must have been a little psychic. They feared the growth of government and mistrusted it. Because of this, they insisted on the Bill of Rights being added to the Constitution. I wonder what they would have thought of the monolith government we have now...
It has long been my belief that we can never be invaded or taken over, that if we lose our liberties, it will be because we "fell asleep at the wheel". And so it is happening. Washington and our college campuses are full of leftist elites who are absolutely sure they know better than we how to live our lives, spend our money and raise our children. Opposing them are the spineless mushy "moderates" and spineless so-called conservatives. Alongside them are unelected, unaccountable and godlike (little"g") judges who have no fear of foisting their agenda on the people.
We are sleeping.
