Earlier in the week, Chris Matthews attempted to portray Stewart Rhodes of the Oath Keepers as a paranoid conspiracy nut for suggesting the presence of foreign troops in the United States.

France’s RAID or Les Hommes en Noir — the Men in Black, appropriate for a militarized police unit.

Matthews, as a supposed news anchor, should read the newswires instead of relying on his CIA Mockingbird script. But then, of course, MSNBC is not interested in reporting the news.

On October 22, two days after his disgraceful attack on the Oath Keepers, The Oakland Tribune reported on just that — foreign troops inside the United States.

“Armed officers in full battle gear will be scattered throughout the Bay Area this weekend, rescuing hostages, fighting bank robbers and quelling terrorism at the Oakland Airport, Lawrence Livermore Laboratory, the NASA Ames Research Center and 22 other high profile sites,” writes Sophia Kazmi. “For the first time in the three-year history of the Alameda County Sheriff’s Department-sponsored exercise, there will be a foreign team of officers taking part and international observers. An eight-member team representing the French National Police’s Research, Assistance, Intervention, and Dissuasion unit will compete”

Yup, eight French cops are a huge threat to the security of the republic.

Thank God they aren’t going to Detroit.
They’d be mugged in an instant and cause an international incident, LOL.

Perhaps these gendarmes should turn around and notice what is pointed at them. 300 million A2 enabled Americans and....how many French officers?

Armed officers in full battle gear ...

I guess that's one way around that sometimes-inconvenient posse commitatus.

Well... one advantage of using the Bay Area is that they can use live ammo.

I bet its a eye opener if they head down to the CASTRO area of San Francisco. Maybe the can play war games there too. They have plenty of toys there.

That isn't the point. Foriegn troops are more likely to fire on American citizens than American troops. Savey?

Yup, eight French cops are a huge threat to the security of the republic.Eight or eight hundred. Same principal. But as long as it's just for training, it OK. But I'd be more comforatable if they were French military rather than police, training off in the dessert somewhere with our military. That happens all the time. The Luftwaffe even has Tornado, two seat swing wing aircraft based at Holloman AFB in Alamagordo NM.

The paint job is commemoration of the their 55,555th flight hour at Holloman.

We have F-22s and Predator drones at the base.

"The price of freedom is the toleration of imperfections."

I respect Mr. Sowell and his opinion more than you know, but I think you could also write, "the toleration of imperfections could cost us our freedom".

"Toleration is the absence of standards."

“The visiting team members were each chosen for being the best in specialties required for the exercise, Hauteclocque said.”

Well at least they will have someone who knows something about great wine and will let it breathe before serving it.

On another note, the Hors d’oeuvres are gonna be fabulous!

Can you imagine doing a terrorist exercise and loading up on Delamotte Brut Rose’ Champagne, Ossetra Caviar and crumpets before playing cowboys and Indians?

Love it!

This will boost Obama thinking. They will see how wonderful the French team is and Obama will say, “See, we need our own domestic military which is just as powerful as our ‘real’ military. And he will start spending more money to support the domestic side and stunt and blackmail the real national security. And the Oathkeepers know this. God bless them all and watch out amerika.

What better place to introduce Obama’s new policy of, “go ahead and ask, go ahead and tell”.

All that would be required, in the case of California, is to realize that “sanctuary city” policies are giving aid and comfort to the enemy {that is treason} and respond accordingly; also, the hoard of illegal-immigrants could be classified as an invasion and the armed forces called on to repel that invasion.
