Conventional wisdom these days is just the opposite.

I’ve not heard anyone claim that reducing taxes was a poor way to increase jobs and federal revenues.

I appreciate the response.

Reducing both taxes and regulation would do a lot to spur investment here. But in order to keep from further wrecking the dollar there must be spending cuts to prevent both deficits and an increase in the national debt. Bush’s folly was to implement tax cuts without any spending cuts. The dollar weakened greatly on his watch, and Obama is throwing gas on that fire.
