No matter what reasonable profit the insurance companies make, it is still more efficient than a government plan doing the same thing. Studies show businesses are 30-50% more efficient than govt.

I have been saying this for ages. All one has to do is to look at any of these companies’ 10-Ks to verify it.

One other little tidbit: their cost to process claims range between 10% and 14%. There is no way that any government agency is going to even come close to approaching that level of efficiency.
