If I’m correct, Wasserman-Schultz is a highly partisan dem who has made more than her share of nasty personal attacks on republicans/conservatives. I doubt that she would have apologized had she been the perpetrator here - but who knows. In any case, this wasn’t a great move, and inviting the liberal press to a gun club probably wasn’t a great move either. But I’m tired of republicans apologizing and beating themselves up for breathing when the left would never think of doing such a thing. Look at Wasserman’s colleague Grayson. He won’t apologize for any of the vile things he says about republicans and his boss Nancy won’t ask him to. Why the double standard? We have bigger and more important things to worry about right now. I hope this can be the last time we read a story like this.

You're correct alright. The way she attacked Terri Schiavo was disgusting. She was especially nasty about her Catholic faith. She dripped evil from every orifice, even her pores, whenever she discussed Terri Schiavo. I don't know when I've ever seen anyone exude so much hatred.
