Don’t know how much the rest of you are paying for gas but yesterday around here it was up to 2.85! Article in the paper said it was up 17 cents just in a couple of weeks. So where is the outrage? As tens of millions of unemployed and uninsured are struggling to make it, now gas prices are making that all the more difficult. But B0 doesn’t care as he is off to the golf course. Imagine the stinging criticism that would rain down on Bush or McCain if they were president.

Agreed. My biggest problem isn't with Obama - he's just being the leftist academic that we knew he was. It's with the news media who let this guy skate by last year, and continue to do so this year. Next, I blame millions upon millions of Americans - including more than a few friends of mine - who refused to do their homework before electing the leader of the free world.
True story: I recently heard a tv report (local, not network) that said the HIGHER PRICES of gas was GOOD NEWS because it meant demand was increasing...and increased demand meant more consumer spending...
In other words, the complete opposite of what was whined about during the Bush administration. I wanted to throw an ashtray through the tv.
