They are sitting there getting shot at while you think of a way to vote present.
And, furthermore:
There's nothing I won't say to cover my own ass.
“And I will never protect you once I send you into harms way.”
To AdminMod:
Feel free to delete this post if you deem it too incindiary.
And if so, forgive me for venting maybe a bit too much.
“Obama to troops: I will never rush the solemn decision of sending
you into harms way “
Because I don’t have the time to make up my mind when I’m busy:
1. Flying back and forth to Copenhagen to have Chicago get the fewest
votes in the first round for the 2016 Olympics
2. Flying around the USA trying to rally support for my Social, er,
Health Care Reform for the illegal immigrants (once I’ve rammed
HyperAmensty down your throat!)
3. Trying to appear as if I’m shocked that I got the Nobel Peace Prize
even though my staff nominated me two weeks after I entered The White House
4. Flying here and there to do fund-raising speeches (and being greeted
by conservative protestors in SAN FREAKIN CISCO; of course you didn’t
see it on network/cable news)
5. Looking after the family dog.
Once I get those things and all the other weighty items of state under
control...
then I’ll decide if you poor souls that were forced into military
service by Dubya’s economy should get some reinforcements.
Sorry...some of you will be dead by then.
Sincerely,
Your Commander-In-Chief
(VOA’s comment follows)
Actually, I do appreciate the current Commander-In-Chief.
Because he shows that Geo. Washington was “The Indispensible Man”.
(title of the Washington biography by Flexner)
And how the current one just doesn’t even get into spittin’ distance
of our first C-i-C.
I mean really. Isn't it clear by this point that Obama is waiting to announce his decision until after the U.S. elections? He's decided what he's going to do. I don't know what that decision is but I do know something: whatever he has decided to do will be wildly unpopular with a large percentage of the voting public. Send "too many" troops and the Libs will be upset. Send "too few" or no troops and every voter to the right of center will be upset. So Obama has a simple tradeoff: American lives versus a few more Dem votes in November. Such an easy decision for Obama - let's just wait until after the election and then we'll tell everyone what we decided last August. This guy is a real jerk.
He would rather pander to the left wing loonies than give our troops what they need to win a war.
Wonder if Obama would speed up his decision making enough to respond to it to insure our Mutual Assured Destruction Policy would be implemented as planned.
isnt that just it...
“I will roast my men there, risk disenchantment, lose my field leaders, give up what ever progress has been made just to show I am a indecisive bumbling non american fool”
He’s sayin’ “I love you so much, I am gonna get you killed.
Lie, lie and lie.
Tell the truth Barry....we all know why you are not going to “rush” on this.....you and company are playing politics on this, all the while, your hands drip with the blood of those who continue to be killed in Afghanistan because of your indecisiveness.

I think Bush delayed the war in Iraq for months to try to win the approval of Colin Powell and similar types...which gave Saddam time to spirit the WMDs out of the country. If Bush had delayed much longer in the spring of 2003, he might have had to wait until the fall, because of the extreme heat in the summer in Iraq. At least I read something to that effect in 2003.
“Wait until you see the whites of their eyes....... then wait some more...... and wait..... and wait.....”
