Newt on Greta talking about Scozzafava
Fox News | 10/26/2009 | Self

Posted on 10/26/2009 7:18:44 PM PDT by RushingWater

Newt answering questions about NY23. Defending the Scozzafava. Says that Hoffman is outside the district. Claims that Scozzafava is a solid fiscal conservative but social liberal. Claims all of Hoffman's money is coming outside the district. Make a point that it was the local GOP that nominated Scozzafava and that they know more than outsiders what is right for the district.

I saw him, and he tried so hard to justify him choosing that leftist hack. Even saying how people from Alaska, Texas, etc shouldn’t get involved in an outside race. Screw you Newt..Everyday I get more and more disgusted with him

Newt’s twitter account has been used exclusively to push his book. It’s become a joke.

Says that Hoffman is outside the district.

NOW 'carpetbagging' is an issue for Newt??? LOL! How far over the district line does Hoffman live? Five miles? Greta and Hannity should send this bozo packing...maybe he can cop a guest spot or two on the Mark Davis show next time he's in Dallas. FUNG.

Newt said she was against all of the things she supports . The hard sell to save face is one thing , to distort the truth is stupid. I will say it was amusing to see that bloated gasbag act like a tough-guy.

People from outside the district will stay out of the race if she promises to never vote for a tax increase that affects anybody outside her district.

I think the Newt’s wishing he had pulled a Pawlenty - feigning ignorance until it’s clear which way the wind was blowing.

Yeah, like people from Georgia have more insight than people in Minnesota or Alaska? He’s dead wrong on this one. He does like to hear himself talk, that’s for sure.

Pawlenty did look like a tool in this situation. He was clueless until he realized that Sarah had made the right move by endorsing the conservative. Suddenly, Pawlenty gets interested in the House race. Dolt.

I never understood why so many people are sold on Newt. He has always been a go-along to get-along politician. Much like Dennis Hastert, he has done NOTHING for the cause and the party. The Republican Party needs a cleansing and a purpose. We need folks with a passion... and not just the passion of a political career.

“Claims all of Hoffman’s money is coming outside the district.”

That is correct Newt. The rank and file Conservatives are fed up with RINO’s. We the small people out side the Washington elite are sending money to Hoffman’s campaign.

He hails from GA—not too popular there and known as a “necessary evil”—and that’s a quote. Lived in GA from 1982—2006. Many just see him as a talkative opportunist—but at a time,he was leading the Rep. party. He created a lot of attention for issues and was regarded as a necessary evil. His womanizing was well known in Marietta GA, and his mistreatment of the first wife cited often. He has baggage. Like Clinton, he can be a smooth talker and charming—personally I think he is no longer in touch with the base, but writes books for money. He gets on TV as he is more a RINO now. He will not be a candidate in 2012 as we don’t want him!!!

Apparently according to Newt’s logic, Georgia is closer to New York then Alaska, therefore he can get involved but Sarah should keep her mouth shut. You know what, I am kinda glad this happened, shows Newt for what he really is. If this race had never happened, some might have not seen Newt as the big lib he really is
