Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich is once again making headlines by publicly pondering a 2012 presidential bid.
Yesterday, as Politics Daily and Politico report, Gingrich talked about a possible bid on CSPAN's Washington Journal.
In the interview, Gingrich said he would make the decision in February of 2011 and that probably would run if he and his wife, Callista, decided that they feel "a requirement as citizens that we run," which would be based on how they asses the other candidates running for the Republican nomination.
"We are going to reach out to all of our friends around the country," Gingrich said. "And we'll decide, if there's a requirement as citizens that we run, I suspect we probably will. And if there's not a requirement… if other people have filled the vacuum, I suspect we won't."

Newt is unacceptable. I will sit out the election rather than vote for a RINO. I will either vote conservative or not vote at all.

Did he mention his 5th(?) wife Callista? He always mentions her on Hannity or anywhere else. Never mentions the wife he divorced who was sick in the hospital when he served her with divorce papers.

In other words if Sarah runs. They have now taken opposing stances in the NY race and I think Newt might like to try to be a spoiler. Try. Lamely.
Newt has made a simple calculation. Observing the 2008 GOP primary he can easily see that it was the rinos and msm who selected the nominee, not grassroots Convervatives. Therefore, to obtain the 2012 nomination all he needs to do is secure the support of the rinos and msm, and screw the grassroots.
Pawlenty sided with Hoffman against the elite of the party. What gives?

He lifted his finger to see which way the wind was blowing. Don’t forget, he has several McCain cast-offs in his PAC. Seems to be me that he is being billed as the anti-Palin.
