To: Overtaxed Patriot

This is nuts, doesnt’ make sense.

A few hundred years ago there were millions of bison roaming the great plains, larger herds of caribou in the tundra, and much larger herds of grazing animals in Africa and elsewhere. I guess they didn’t fart though.

Think I’m having a nice rare steak tonight.

Even now reindeer and muskox are sustained by over 1/4 of the entire land surface of the Earth.

Even human beings don't graze that much!

Not only are you correct, but:

There are huge areas of land in the world that will support cattle, but are not suitable for cultivation. So food of any kind will become more costly.

Add to that the insane bio fuel scam which has disrupted the grain markets and we are headed for food prices that will make life even more difficult for everyone, especially the poor.
