Newt has proven in the past that he has delusional moments that make those around him scratch their heads. It’s worth taking that into account when assessing him has a potential presidential candidate.

My rule of thumb is not to support someone for president who hasn’t won a statewide race in part because successfully holding a statewide office usually demands good judgment. I guess Newt is illustrating my point.
