Unfortunately he has NOT helped out the war on the Taliban, and now we have the highest US troop deathtoll in Afghanistan for the entire war.

McChrystal begged for troops.

Troop Morale sank.

They even had a trial balloon about the Taliban becoming a political party.

MS: Well, I thought that argument was settled in 1776, but apparently not.”

I'm definitely stealing "Mickey Maoists."

I don't actually think 0bama is using the Afghanistan thing to distract anyone, although it's a nice fringe benefit. I think he's delaying because (1) he doesn't want to do what his on-scene commander wants him to because it's impolitic, (2) he doesn't want to pull out because it's risky, and (3) he hasn't a clue what other alternative would be safe both militarily and politically (there isn't one). He's waiting for some event to make his mind up for him. And that, given it's a shooting war, is likely to be a very nasty wait for the troops under fire.

As nearly everyone predicted, we have a measure of the man at the one-year point in office. He's still blaming Bush. There are other measures to be sure, but that one is damning enough.

I just have one little question.

Will we have elections in 2010 and 2012? Or will they be suspended “til later” due to a national health care emergency?

"It’s time to man up. I mean, this is just girly boy stuff, and I’m tired of it. "

Uh-bummer is becoming a coward and a joke with many commentators- Krauthammer, O'Reilly, and many, many commentators are on his butt about his stalling in Afghanistan. He can fight Fox News, but he's lost in Afghanistan. Real winner we got here, and it's becoming obvious to the whole world that he is not qualified for the office of President of the USA....mf
