NY23 UPDATE: Scozzafava Campaign Using NRCC/RNC Staff
American Spectator ^ | October 27, 2009 | By Robert Stacy McCain

Posted on 10/27/2009 3:32:56 PM PDT by Jet Jaguar

A team of conservative bloggers with 73Wire.com arrived in upstate New York's 23rd District this morning and visited the headquarters of liberal Republican candidate Dede Scozzafava:

Not only is the NRCC pumping hundreds of thousands of dollars into the media campaign of Dede Scozzafava, they're also organizing and coordinating teams of GOTV volunteers in the district. And they're picking up the tab.

Our team just finished meeting with a NRCC volunteer named "James" who works out of the Watertown office for the Scozzafava campaign. James informed us that he was sent to Watertown, NY from Washington D.C. as a volunteer for the NRCC. We asked about expenses, and he said the NRCC was paying for everything.

We had a great chat with James and learned that a good portion of the Scozzafava campaign volunteers were indeed brought in from outside of the district. . . .

disgusting.
doing exactly what the DNC is doing,
and when you look at it objectively,
doing it for the same kind of candidate.
So they might as well be doing it FOR
the DNC.
Steele, Gingrich, and all those dinosaurs must GO!
They have to be given walking papers ASAP.

It’s not a very pleasant thing, watching someone point a gun at their heads, and shoot themselves in the head like the NRCC is doing right now.
They should know they are going to pay dearly for this outrage.

Anyone up for starting to direct tea party anger at a novel
target????
Let’s start demonstrating at the HQ of the RNC, instead of the White House, etc. etc, and selected targets of this Administration.
The RNC is starting to deserve whatever spillover wrath we
have left after directing it Obama and his team. In their backing of Dede S. they’ve shown their true colors. Their true LOSING colors, because it looks more and more like she’ll lose. Of course, if the conservative Doug Hoffman wins, they’ll rush to embrace him, just as they cynically tried to jump aboard the Tea Party movement once it got underway, no thanks to them.
It’s hard to believe someone like Newt Gingrich finally shows himself to have a death wish, but he’s demonstrating it stubbornly every day.

This, pretty much in a nutshell, tells me all I need to know about the Republican leadership. Especially since it has come to light that Hoffman approached the NRCC about being the Republican nominee and was turned down.

It's long past time to clean out the Republican party leadership. And if they are so entrenched that we can't clean them out, it's time for a third party. Send them to the ashbin of history just like they did to the Whigs.

So, now we learn that the NRCC actually LIKES card check as well as abortion and gay marriage.

How nice!

The GOP is showing it’s cards. We now know where they officially stand. Dems & Repubs have allied against us Conservatives.

Mrs. panax and I left the party a couple months ago because we saw the writing on the wall. We’d had enough.

Screw ‘em.

One more reason every single mailing from RINO Central (RNC), National RINO Congressional Committee (NRCC) and National RINO Senatorial Committee (NRSC), goes straight into the trash basket in my Study. For several years now, all of my political donations go straight to individual (verified) conservative candidates. No exceptions.

Screw the GOP leadership. They have made themselves irrelevant. We have no need for this pack of Nelson Rockefeller, party above principle, silk sock, country club wine & cheese nibblers.

It would be a huge victory for conservatives if Hoffman wins. Of course, the democrats and RINOs know this, and so they are pulling out all the stops to make sure that does not happen.

I have such a headache from this...I can't even begin to think straight. Newt Gingrich has got to shut up and FOX News has to stop listening to his gibberish. I am glad to know this news though—only at FR would we get this. I bet this DEM/RINO pretender that Newt likes is a trojan horse. Who knows. I don't understand why they don't like Hoffman.
Something is crazy wrong here. I wish I could get out there and work the phones for Doug—but I can't. However, I do want to see if we can Swiftboat Pelousy somehow.

It takes awhile, but eventually most of us wise up.

No more money for RINO support.

I love seeing the righteous indignation in these threads. I find it to be a bit funny, because it seems like a lot of people are only just now catching on to the game being played in DC. Anyone who believes there are two major opposing parties in this country is delusional.
