Judging from expenditures made by national Democrats, the party believes its biggest obstacle to victory in a New York special election is not the Republican candidate but the Conservative Party's nominee.
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and its allies have not run advertisements attacking Assemblywoman Dede Scozzafava since Oct. 20, a week ago. Instead, the party has focused solely on knocking down Conservative Party candidate Doug Hoffman.

Q: What is the difference between the Democrat leadership and the Republican leadership?
A: The Democrat leadership has political smarts but no principles. The Republican leadership has no political smarts and no principles.
Duh. They’re not going to attack their own brethren.
They are not worried. When rat voters are given the choice between imitation rat (rino rat) or real rat, they choose real rat every time.
LOL that’s kinda funny.
Now we know what their "internals" (internal polls) are telling them over in the Demoncrap camp.
Doug Hoffman (Cons.) is gaining on them or in fact in the lead. Now we really need to ramp up every manner of support for Doug and also start pissing and moaning for the NRCC to BACK OFF and for Dede to GET OUT OF THE RACE.
From my email from the Hoffman camp:
“Call for help:
The phones are ringing off the hook at the Saranac Lake headquarters. We desperately need volunteers to help answer phones, process donations, and help with a myriad of other tasks. It is a great problem to have, but with this ground swell of support comes a lot coordination and effort. Please volunteer to ensure victory.”
Anybody here live in the 23rd district that has time?
Bump
I’m hoping he will be flooded with volunteers

Hoffman is now getting tons of volunteers, according to an email I received from the Hoffman camp.
