IIRC, the last stages of the Roman Empire featured foul graffiti sprawled all over the place. A clear sign, for sure of where this country is heading.

When the civility of people is gone, what's left? For a few weeks after 9/11 people were a little more friendly, more civil to their fellow man. More people went to church. Then that went away. Look at the TV shows and movies from yesteryear. I look at them and think I'm viewing an alternate universe. Now look at today. What's really fearful is the rapid descent into hell.

It’s funny you mention about the movies of yesteryear. I watched an old Hitchcock show and an old Night Galley a few nights ago. The Hitchcock one featured an weird old landlady playing church hymns as she taxidermied her male guests. The Night Gallery was about a “sin eater” who had to eat food around a dead person so their sins would be forgiven. The start of Hollywood’s attack against God? I think.
