I am convinced that human nature is such that freedom has zero chance to flourish in other than in very thinly populated areas and probably not even there once technology reaches a certain level. Any technological advance will be seized upon by the power grabbers who would rather ruin someone else’s day than spend their own day in paradise.
If a tick hass thoughts I am sure that he imagines himself to be serving some great purpose for which he and none other is destined, to admit that he is a useless blood sucker who makes others miserable while being incapable of doing anything positive even for himself would be too much to face.
