KNOXVILLE - While jurors watched for the second time torture-slaying alleged ringleader Lemaricus Davidson's account after his arrest in the January 2007 slayings of a Knox County couple, the parents of one victim lashed out at defense claims of drug use.
Within a half hour of resuming deliberations this morning, jurors pondering Davidson's fate in the slayings of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom asked for a replay of a two-hour-long interrogation video of Davidson after his Jan. 11, 2007 arrest.

This slimes’ filthy cohort has already been sentenced to life in a medium security prison. No justice there. If the same happens to this one then the people of TN ought to demand tougher penalties and an easier way to employ the death penalty.
This murder has stumped the PC press, they know that this was an actual hate crime but are too FU’d to say anything.
Their is a history of violence an E.TN against blacks and this PC trial may turn that spigot back on....
Why are these vile demons still alive?
Guilty on all murder counts so far! Other counts are being read into the record by the jury foreman currently.
I hope this jury has the guts to give this POS get the needle!
Little Ray, I draw the line where a defense lawyer tries the victim through lies or distortions. And don’t assume you know what I think.......and most of them ARE monsters!

Being a Knoxvillian, this heinous crime has made me physically ill at times. Everything about this case has been horrific. The coverage, or lack thereof, has been so poor that outside of Knox County this might as well have never happened. This particular trial showed just how ugly the defense attorneys are willing to get as they repeatedly tried to paint the murder victims as drug addicts who basically brought this upon themselves. (Newsome had remnants of Adderall and marijuana in his system, Christian’s tox report came back clean.)
After the first trial, where Letalvis Cobbins only received life in prison, many of us are concerned that Davidson could avoid his so richly deserved fate too. If this was not a hate crime, there is no such thing.
It was one of the worst cases of murder I’ve ever seen too. Those two kids didn’t deserve it, nor does any murder victim but the demons were really at work that night. God rest their souls......:(.....btw, hate crimes only pertain to whites being the perpetrators. A one-way street if you will, and that enrages me!
That has not been my experience.
I have tried to dislike them, but the ones I know seem to be decent people trying to do the best job they can for their clients.
Of course, I don’t have any experience with criminal defense lawyers.
Some and I mean some are doing the best they can for their clients.......their out there.....just rare as hen’s teeth. We’ve had some real doozies here in Houston and of course we all know about the Simpson trial, but those lawyers were aided by a totally inept jury. You don’t try a victim during a trial....it’s just that simple.
