Because Cheney is not nor has he ever been a “limited government” type conservative.
Just because hes is a hawk does NOT mean that he doesn’t believe government shouldn’t run your life.
Texas and Perry are being targeted because Texas has a population base that WILL support “extreme” 10th amendment measures given just a little more juice. You guys in Texas better be ready to fight that bi-ch back and get some more hard core “right wing extremists” in the Texas legislature.
Actually, IMHO, the fact that he is a hawk (more accurately a muscular Wilson) IS evidence that hates limited government. If you believe that the U.S. government should be for a world nanny state, it is probably that deep down you think the same thing about its role domestically.
