Many of us did, but not enough. It seems people will only choose correctly after suffering the consequences of a very poor choice.
To add to my previous post, ignorance destroys. Most people have no coherent understanding and therefore coherent principles about economics. They are easily deceived.
For the life of me, I don't understand why people keep saying things like this. I find nothing "likeable" about Obama, especially his position (in the public record) for withholding medical aid to babies who survive the abortionist's knife. I find nothing likeable about the man of his policies for taking things away from people who have earned them through their own hard work and giving them to people who haven't.
Sure, Obama presents a picture of a polite person when he puts on a show of interacting with ordinary people. But that is his one of many masks he puts on. Many of the most racist and evil people I have ever encountered put on a show of politeness and deference when you interact with them, but those are just covers for the deep-seated hatred and disgust they really harbor for you.
