The cameras were there because they are White House pool cameras. There’s usually 2 or 3 cameras that always follow the president around, and every network gets to send a camera operator along. The names are picked from a lottery. The White House pool cameras follow the president wherever he goes. All television media then gets to use the video footage of those cameras once they set up live or arrive back at the White House later.

Where were the pictures of Obama Golfing over the weekend when these soldiers died?

And he just happened to go with his photogs, in the middle of the night, a week before an election, to pay respects.... and get his picture taken with dead soldiers.

If I’m not mistaken, President Bush visited wounded soldiers at Walter Reed without pool being present.
