Here is an attempt at posting the bill.

I do not post very often so if this fails, can someone please assist?

Are you thinking that we should volunteer to read sections and report on them? That’s a good idea.

team sarah is doing this to the bill.
Interesting thing from the speed reader on Cavuto today, there is language in there to do with “vending machines” and nutritional values, something like that.

It’s 2000 pages, so if we each did 10 pages, we’d need 200 folks.

I’ve just been scanning it, it’s too late tonight to start doing all the cross referencing to other bills, but the first thing that pops out at me (somewhere in the 1400’s) is that they are handing out grant money like sauce packs at a Taco Bell drivethru. I think I might need to become a ‘medical researcher’.

Some Quickies

starting on p. 16
Upon passage of the bill, there will immediately be set up a High -Risk pool of people to give them the public option of health care coverage. on p. 18 line 14 - if you meet the requirements to be in this high risk pool which is described above...such as haven’t had health care coverage for the last 6 months....

Then you CANNOT be considered for coverage under an employment based health plan at all!!!

So if you actually get a job, you can’t get enrolled into their plan you are stuck with the governement plan!!

p.25 top of p.26 of the bill
If the $5 billion runs out that they have alloted then the Sec. of Health has the right to reduce benefits, increase premiums and establish waiting lists.

Also
p.297 the section heading is taxes on individuals without appropriate health care coverage.
right...
look on p. 299
2) Non-resident aliens..this subsection will not apply to them.

If they don’t have purchase appropriate health care coverage yet, they get to use it...they will NOT be taxed like the rest of us if we don’t comply!

It appears on P. 299 top p. 300 that we might be saved if we just say that we are religious thus not having to pay the tax

You are commandeering a new lawyer force that has no law experience. This shall be quite a scene.

I believe I have found the priceless ironic gem of the legislation:

(d) LACK OF REGULATIONS. - The lack of promulgated regulations shall not limit the effect of this Act.

...

(b) LACK OF PLAN. - The lack of (or failure to submit) such a plan shall not limit the effect, or prevent the implimentation, of this Act.

2) You should also post another thread every day, which points back to all previous threads.
3) Make a ping list.
4) Invest time in gathering people, THEN start
5) Better yet, get these guys ...
