At our facility, testing for Type A and Type B influenza continues. The state lab is no longer confirming the subtype of flu because they were all coming back as the Mexican Swine Flu. The state still doing some random confirmations for statistical purposes and to monitor for other flu subtypes.
The cost for a confirmation of subtype costs about $300 and has never been routine in the past.
Not sure about the vents, so far it hasn’t been bad here at all. In early October there were a few cases of suspected flu which later tested negative for type A and B and were discharged from the hospital before the swine flu test results came back as the H1N1 tests are sent out to the health dept for testing.

Hundreds of thousands of people get the flu every year with no more effect than missing a day or two of work. Obama & Co. need this “pandemic” panic to stay in power, and that is why he and the Drive-by Media are manufacturing it, and no doctor is going to resist giving people a shot, no matter how ill-advised it is.

‘Swine flu’ is a non-event. - They won’t quote any numbers because the numbers are so low that any intelligent person would laugh the off their soap box. - The effects of the ‘swine flu’ are so mild that most won’t even think that they had anything at all.
Yes people do die after gwetting the flu, but those are people that had existing issues that had not been properly dealt with, and almost anything could have had the same effect. So few are dying from this flu that the panic pushers aren’t admitting them due to the fact that nobody would take them seriously.
There is no ‘pandemic,’ only thugs that need panic to reinforce their power. No vaccine has ever prevented anyone from getting any flu, and certainly not from dying from it.

I have a large family and we are just coming out of a week’s worth of some sort of illness.
Very high spikes in temperature. Lethargy. Lack of appetite. Alot of snot and coughing. With a few of my kids, just when we were ready to send them back to school (no fever in 2 days) they were then hit with a round of vomiting and diarrhea.
The older ones in our house - it mostly made us want to sleep all the time and gave us a cough.
The message in our area is - if you can manage this at home, than please stay home so the hospitals can deal with the severe cases.
Which is what we did. No tests - no doctor visits.
How many people are doing what we just did?
If no one is getting tested than how can ABC news say we haven’t had it? How can anyone say we have?

Precisely! My granddaughter had a fever, but it only lasted one day. Who's to know what she had? Everyone has different symptoms and some are sick much longer than others. Nevertheless, H1N1 statistics certainly must be tainted since most are NOT having tests done to verify the type of flu. Seasonal flu cases very likely are being lumped in with H1N1 cases.

Seasonal flu usually doesn't start for a while, and I believe I've read that seasonal flu peaks in February. That's about when they are predicting a third wave of H1N1 throughout America.
