As a TEXAN, all I care about is that control of our highways not be SOLD OUT to the highest bidder (or whatever bidder Perry selects).
Kay WILL NOT do that, so she gets my vote and my money. It’s much cheaper for me to give her a few hundred now than have to pay thousands every year to companies like Cintra (the Spanish firm that nearly took over control of the I-35 corridor, and may still get control of the US-59 corridor). If Perry is gone, Cintra, MacQuire (Austrailian firm), and others will be gone, and that’s good enough for me (until Dan Patrick gets in office and finally cleans up the state).
And what will you tell us after Kay helps whoop through a state income tax?
