PRISTINA, Kosovo – Thousands of ethnic Albanians braved low temperatures and a cold wind in Kosovo's capital Pristina to welcome former President Bill Clinton on Sunday as he attended the unveiling of an 11-foot (3.5-meter) statue of himself on a key boulevard that also bears his name.
Clinton is celebrated as a hero by Kosovo's ethnic Albanian majority for launching NATO's bombing campaign against Yugoslavia in 1999 that stopped the brutal Serb forces' crackdown on independence-seeking ethnic Albanians.
This is his first visit to Kosovo since it declared independence from Serbia last year.
Many waved American, Albanian and Kosovo flags and chanted "USA!" as the former president climbed on top of a podium with his poster in the background reading "Kosovo honors a hero."

I can’t wait for the day that the statue is toppled ala Lenin, Stalin, and Saddam Hussein, etc. It will come.

I think if you just walk a beautiful woman by it it will get down and follow her and she can lead it to the scrap yard where it can be melted down to make something useful.

Just wait until Bush gets his first statue from where ever. The jokes will be horrible by the liberals. Although, we probably should not be joking about Clinton’s statue, it is kinda funny. The only problem is that we will not be able to be pissed off when the liberals start giving jokes to Bush because we are joking about Clinton.
I’ve been waiting for somebody to mention the position of the jacket.
I noticed it right away .. how convenient that his private parts pay such a prominant place on the statue. It’s almost as bad as his open-legged portrait on the cover of Time.
But .. I have noticed that most of the pictures I’ve seen of the statue seem to be avoiding a frontal shot .. making the private parts so obvious.
This totally proves what a creep the guy is - because he would have had to approve the statue (knowing Clinton), so the end result is exactly what Clinton wanted to portray.
Looks like Clinton and Obama are going to become a race to see who can be the most outrageously obscene.
