I hope that this does not sound like a dumb question, but given that I live in the Peoples Republic of Michigan, it is hard to take the pulse of the rest of the country when we are on life support.

Petty. She let her bitterness get in the way of doing what was best for her district. The DNC probably promised her the moon to do this. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Zero himself called her.

The democrats so want this seat...Obama lures the Republican, “McHugh”, from the seat to be Army secretary, then the democrats load both candidate slots with two liberals so there won’t be any chance in hell to lose! If that’s not enough, the smartest History Professor in the Country, “Newt”, was willing to go along with the liberal Republican in order to keep the Republican Umbrella together no matter what the Republican candidate believed in, as long as there is an (R) next the candidates’ name> And along came a "political nobody" loaded with a Facebook page....

So who looks like the bigger Arse right now Newt or Steele I say Newt. Steele didn't choose her, but as the chairman of the RNC he didn't have much choice but to support her. Newt, on the other hand, intentionally butted into a race where he didn't belong and supported her unnecessarily.
