Interesting about Dede announcing for Owens. She probably didn't intend it, but that announcement probably pushed even more support to Doug Hoffman, through negative reactions from the voters. No one (except a Democrat) likes a traitor - no matter what party they represent.
Unintended consequences, you know?
There's no doubt that she's now burned her last bridge to the Republican party with this. She'll re-file as a Democrat in due course, and they will welcome her with hugs all around.
