I predict it will be a love-fest. All ex-presidents seem to have short memories.

Thank you for the November Dose, Snugs.

It's good to see a real president again. And what you wrote at the top of the thread is perfect.

Hope you and your dad are doing well.

I certainly hope so. I guess I'm projecting my own issues on the situation...has nothing to do with debating skills...I wouldn't even be in the same BUILDING with that AWFUL EXCUSE FOR A HUMAN BEING. I would need a "Silkwood" shower afterwards...and that would be almost as painful as having to spend even 30 seconds near him.

I just think so highly of W that to me, it would be like a CEO going down to a burger joint and flippin' burgers with one of the trainees that's spent hours/days over the grill (without a shower) and stinks to high heaven.

Other than that....

Look at it the other way, NordP. Clinton lovers are probably aghast.

And President Bush is VERY likeable in person, which many Clintonistas never know until they see him.

Plus, Clinton appearing with him will shut some of those people up who are always shouting “war crimes.”

Also, I still think Bill is trying to undermine Obama. I welcome any effort to do this, even from the big gasbag.

Former U.S. President George W. Bush, center, shows a pitching form, wearing a university's baseball jacket, during his visit to Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan, Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009. Bush gave a speech to students at Waseda University School of Sport Sciences as a special lecturer of the school's Akihiro "Ike" Ikuhara and Peter O'Malley Memorial Sports Management Class.

Love this one of our very unpopular President! ;) Former U.S. President George W. Bush, second right, smiles as cheerleaders sing the school song at Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan, Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009.

Thanks, DrDeb, for posting the article! You are right, I think he is having a terrific time! So glad about that!I am sure he will have a terrific time next week when he gets to see you, too! :)

Yes---it is Laura's birthday! So glad you remembered. I know we all wish the best first lady ever many blessings on her birthday!

If you think people would like it, I'd be happy to have your small ping list, DrDeb.

Also, I can't figure out what is going on with my formatting---I am obviously doing something wrong---I didn't use to have this problem. I will try to figure it out.

Great photos, dmd, and articles to go with them, DrDeb!

LOVE seeing the President having such a good time.

And yes, today is Laura's birthday and tomorrow their anniversary.

Will he be home by then?

I doubt anyone will truly believe that GWB supports Obama, even though he sticks with his standards as says nothing about him.

There will be Bush haters on this forum who claim that's what it means, but no one who knows anything will be confused by it.

They will see a gentleman and a pig. An honest man and a pathological liar. Character can't be hidden. George W. Bush has it. Bill Clinton does not.

You just need to make sure you put < p > (no spaces) between your text and your photos. If you don’t, they go crazy like that. :)

Thanks, ohio! Actually, I thought I had been doing that, though. When I preview the post, it looks fine but then when I post it all goes wonky. I sure wish we could edit! I will double check the next time I post.

Even though Newsweek probably intended the following as one of their usual BDS snarks, it really comes across as quite charming:

I have found that on this forum, with the unfortunate absence of an edit feature, that I preview each post about a hundred times. :)

Unfortunately, even then, I miss some of those stinky old paragraph markings.

That is what I don’t get-—I always preview! I wonder if I am previewing and then making changes and not previewing again. It is driving me crazy as I hate those posts looking as though I don’t know what I am doing (apparently I don’t!). I will keep trying.

When you preview, hit the refresh button on the browser, if there are problems, it will show up there.
