HEADS UP . . .
GRETA WILL INTERVIEW PRESIDENT BUSH ‘41’ TONIGHT ON FOXNEWS
[Keep the mute button handy for Hillary!]
http://www.foxnews.com/ontherecord/
THANK YOU so much for posting this AWESOME tribute to a visionary leader and courageous Commander-in-Chief, President George W Bush.
I think President Bush is as disappointed with Obama as he has been with Carter and to a lesser degree Clinton — all three of whom have at varying times denigrated the Office that President Bush holds in such high esteem!!
I saw this a bit ago on her blog:

Why interviewing Pres Bush 41 is not easy
It isn't easy to interview President Bush 41.
As anyone will tell you - even President Clinton - President Bush won't take credit for anything. President Bush 41 is a very modest person. He played a huge role in the Berlin Wall coming down but he downplays what he did and talks about what others did.
Former US president George W. Bush (centre R) smiles with former Japanese prime minister Junichiro Koizumi (C) before taking part in the ceremonial first pitch for the Japan Series professional baseball match between the Yomiuri Giants and Nippon Ham Fighters at the Tokyo Dome stadium on November 3, 2009.
Thank you, snugs. Don’t know what we’d do without this reminder of a President of personal integrity and decency, just two of the many qualities lacking in the current occupant of the White House. President Bush’s heart must be breaking over the destruction of everything he put his heart and soul into, especially the treatment of our military. These photos inspired me to order several of the Thank You President Bush bumper stickers for my family and friends. I’m praying that the elections today will be a repudiation of the thug tactics we are seeing more and more!
How many good memories are brought to mind as I look through them. What we had, and what is now gone.
But I thank the Lord every day for those eight years, and I ask God's divine protection on George and Laura Bush, on Dick Cheney, and all those who served our country so well, but are under the relentless and evil attack of the left (and dare I say, some on the angry, extreme right?)
Thanks again!
On Thursday, November 5th, I will be posting an Anniversary Special Tribute here on the Dose. It's an updated repeat but since I was "away" for a couple of years, I thought it would be appropriate to post it again this year for those of us who "get it."
I found out a few days ago that there are still people here who hate President Bush with a deep passion, and who hate those of us who respect him with an irrational rage. There is NO way I could post such a precious tribute "out there" among the wolves. I hope that those of you who know others besides those on the Dose ping list who might appreciate it would ping them.
Again, snugs, I SO much appreciate all your hard work..........and I know it's hard work, cause I've been there! :)
Now we ALL know that between Reagan and Bush, Bush was the one with foreign policy expertise, and that Bush41 had a strong foreign policy team that HE LED as President.
The Berlin Wall fell on his watch, and he refused to take a bit of credit for it last night on Greta.
That's OK, though. Greta made sure everyone knew that he was in charge when it happened, and GHW didn't have to brag and embarrass his Mom watching down from heaven. :)
Such a GOOD man!
BASEBALL!
My favorite quote.......
While the specialist refused to divulge further details, we did learn that he prefers a high pressurised massage. An employee with the hotel revealed on condition of anonymity, "He is quite a cool guy. He has a very American way of greeting people. He says, 'How are you guys' and pats everybody on their back."
Sounds like OUR President, doesn't it? Probably told that "anonymous source" that he'd better not divulge any "further details." LOL!
AWESOME! Thank you for posting the photos from Japan . . . I bet President Bush and his good buddy Koizumi are having a blast!!
Oh, I can’t wait to view your anniversary tribute to our wonderful First Couple!! [Hmmmmmmmmmm, I hope the President gets back from his travels in time to celebrate his anniversary on the actual date?!]
BTW: The haters at FR seem more prevalent because this forum has been overrun by neo-libertarians and paleocons — not a genuine conservative/Republican in the group . . . This thread is the only reason I visit FR!
Thank you dmd25—that first photo is phenomenal!! Actually they are all great. President Bush is still a Blessing. So wonderful to see a real man and not a whiny child!
Well, you cannot have victory over truth. You can't have victory over decency and honor. In the end, GOOD will win out over EVIL and their hate-filled mouths will be shut. And for some reason, I feel like I need to be part of the battle.
Sorry for the rant. I understand your wanting to stay just here on the only thread where literal sanity is enforced. I can't seem to be able to do that very well. :|
So glad you sent a ping to baseballmom. I meant to and forgot. Glad you covered my mistake.
Do you have a ping list for this thread? I just copy the list of someone (you or DrDeb mostly) who has sent a post to a bunch of people---but I know I don't have everyone. Perhaps it doesn't matter and I will just continue that practice. I am sure I am missing some people, though.
I love that first picture, too, GoldwaterChick! And I so agree with your comment about a real man. :)
I love this comment, ohio! Mrs. Prescott Bush raised a fine boy, didn't she? He is a good, decent, honorable man. We need more like him.

I think this is a wise decision, ohio. We don't need any mean comments about the subjects of your lovely tribute. People can be so hateful. We will enjoy your work here and hopefully some others will come to this safe place to enjoy it.
