I haven’t heard any discussion of the smoking ban. I’m not a smoker but I’d like this ban repealed. Has anyone heard if this is a campaign issue or not?

It has not been a campaign issue at all, which is why I have not mentioned it on any of the VA election threads. It has long been a major issue for me and I have fought against such bans for more years than I care to admit.

This is the first I’ve read of any position at all. As pro-business as McDonnell appears to be, there’s a strong chance he’d favor a repeal and put the issue back in the business owners’ hands where it belongs.
