To win in the republican party primary, you need to have a really good life resume of continuous achievement.

Strangely, Reagan and the others were never senators. Could you instead give us a list of Republican senators that required a pedigree? Perhaps you like the accomplishments of Lindsay Graham or Olympia Snowe?
