THat was embarrassing: the Congressman who lead the pledge, making a big deal of the “under God” botched it and left out the “indivisible”.
Just got back to my office. It was a wonderful sight.
The crowd was assembled and at 1215 the congresscritters (on our side I assume) came down the steps to meet the crowd to applause and cheers.
Star Spangled Banner sung, Pledge of Allegiance, and a prayer (at the steps!!).
