Another broad concept of “darwinism” is the unanchoring of society from an objective authority.

This is apparent in our law system as well.

It used to be the case where laws were anchored in the Judaeo-Christian (ie, biblical) foundation. If it couldn’t be justified there, it was simply not allowed to become law.

Then came the evolutionary view where the law “evolves” based on nothing except the views of the enlightened jurists of the day.

This is why the Constitution is a dead letter. It is an objective basis of law, in and of itself based on Mosaic and Christian laws and morality. But NO. Those who “interpret” the law are so much more enlightened than the writers of the Constitution (or the Bible).
